Program Fee
The program fee is HK$91,000*.
New Students admitted with credit transfers are required to pay the
full program fee. Students who fail a course and need to repeat a
course will have to pay HK$3,100* per credit for each course.

The caution money of the program is HK$300. This should be paid at the first program registration. Charges will be made against the caution money if there is any unpaid claim against the student, such as outstanding library dues. At graduation, the full amount of the caution money will be transferred to cover the graduation fee.
The life membership fee of MSc(EEM) Alumni Association and fee for the 2-day-1-night residential program (which will be held before semester starts) is HK$1,600#.
# Food and lodging of the residential program are covered.
For full-time new and continuing non-local student (only), the annual medical insurance fee is HK$560. New full-time non-local student commencing their study in Spring semester shall pay HK$330.
For non-local student applying for student visa, the application and mailing fee is HK$400*.
* These are the fees for students admitted in 2010 Fall.
Financial Assistance
Government's
Non-means Tested Loan Scheme (NLS)
Successful applicants who have the right of abode in Hong
Kong or have resided in Hong Kong continuously for three complete
years immediately prior to the commencement of their year of study
may apply for the Government's Non-means Tested Loan Scheme (NLS)
from the Government Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA).
The scheme offers loan up to the full program fee. Loans awarded
are not means-tested. To obtain further details, students please

Continuing Education
Fund (CEF)
Some courses of the MSc(EEM) Program have been included in the list
of reimbursable courses for CEF purposes. Eligible applicants who
are HK citizens and are eligible for CEF may apply for the fund
and be reimbursed with a maximum sum of HK$10,000, upon successful
completion of the two reimbursable courses with
an attendance rate over 70% in each course. For details and updates
of eligibility, application, and reimbursement procedures (in particular
the reimbursement period from the date of application), please refer
